Job Description

This is a remote position.

The Role

The Cru is in need of a driven individual who is equipped and excited to help grow the membership of The Cru. This role will support interviewing, vetting, and converting a potential member into a confirmed member of The Cru. The Applicant Success Associate will have a big hand in optimizing and delivering a thoughtful applicant experience. They will ensure every individual who completes an application to The Cru feels heard, seen and eager to join our Constellation of women committed to ensuring one another thrive. The Applicant Success Associate will report to the Applicant Success Manager and work collaboratively with our Marketing and Member Success team and will be customer facing.

What You’ll Do:

  • Assist in inviting, interviewing and vetting all applicants
  • Proactively follow up with applicants
  • Personally engage and conduct interviews with applicants to determine whether The Cru is the right fit for them at this point in their journey and ultimately support the conversion into paying members.
  • Support and manage our primary communications inbox ensuring that applicant questions are answered in a timely manner
  • Provide daily and weekly reports on conversion performance and results to the team and leadership
  • Organize and optimize every day process such as email communication, tools utilization, data management
  • Support VP, Member Success with Inception Gatherings as needed (up to 3 evenings/month).

Requirements

What We’re Looking For:

  • Strong tactical execution skills to optimize processes.
  • Knowledgeable in membership/customer service/account management and/or recruitment, and the ability to deliver at the highest level of operational excellence.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills that prioritizes and conveys empathy for the consumer experience.
  • Well versed in G-Suite, focusing on Google Sheets/Excel optimizations.
  • Demonstrated experience successfully working with a small but mighty team in a fast paced environment where being a self-starter and a resourceful problem solver are paramount.
  • Willing to work a flexible schedule and sometimes later hours for events; may include some weekends.
  • Thrives in a workplace where you need to quickly adapt and pivot due to unexpected changes.
  • Experience working with CRM and project management software including Hubspot, Zendesk and Asana preferred.
  • Approaches hurdles with creativity and an open mind.
  • Operates with humility and a hunger for growth.
  • Takes their work seriously, but not themselves too seriously.
  • Excited to help build and scale a company dedicated to empowering women.
