In support of our mission, we are seeking a Head of Membership to lead engagement with members of Charter Pro, our forthcoming research and insights platform. The ideal candidate will be a strategic operator with experience developing initiatives to drive membership, building and managing relationships, and programming membership activities. You will report into the Chief Operating Officer.

What you’ll do

  • Direct and oversee membership activities, including executive roundtables and event programming
  • Develop programs and initiatives to increase membership and retain members
  • Manage the membership pipeline, and create and distribute information to current and prospective members, including leading outreach to prospective members and onboarding new members
  • Cultivate and maintain comprehensive knowledge of Charter Pro
  • Establish and refine processes and templates, and work with key stakeholders to optimize member support
  • Work closely with COO and Head of Business Operations to manage the Charter Pro membership P&L, set growth targets, and allocate resources
  • Assess and direct member requests to the appropriate team member in the research or advisory teams
  • Represent the voice of the member in product development, and identify trends to surface new product, editorial, and research opportunities

Who you are

  • Results-focused and goal-oriented account manager or customer success leader; we're also open to candidates with unconventional backgrounds, including those who have experience within an HR team or could identify with the challenges facing our members
  • Systems thinker who can design, implement and scale processes
  • Relationship builder with sales acumen
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Ideal candidate would be interested and engaged in the conversation around work and management
  • Low ego, high ambition
  • Passionate about transforming work, with a desire to positively impact how work is done and people relate to one another
